@ the V&A, Dundee

Using up our Scot rail 50+ flat rate travel anywhere in Scotland for £17 ticket to go up to Dundee and see the V&A Museum.
A spectacular modern designed building, but felt the museum space is a bit of an after thought. Huge open atrium with cafe, gift shop, grand staircase, and sloping wooden slatted features dominate the ground floor footprint. Whilst restaurant/ bar and kids activity area dominating the 1st floor. Leaving, small enclosed exhibition spaces tucked away in the back corners. The main exhibit, I felt, is the building itself.
