St Kentigern’s Church

Previously the parish church of Lanark the category ‘B’ listed building dates back to 603 and was founded by St Kentigern himself who was also known as Mungo, founder and patron saint of the City of Glasgow.

The church, once visited by William Wallace, is now in serious disrepair and is protected by builders security fencing and scaffolding.
