Another Dolmen

Visiting this burial mound was this afternoons activity after a morning of orienteering amongst the boulders. Plan A was to walk up the 1 km dirt track from the gate across the fields but when we saw the herd of long horned cows ( extra), Plan B was to open the gate carefully so as not to let any cows out and drive up the track. Mr P must have concluded the chance of harm to us from horns was greater than harm to the hire car from the dirt track. The farmer turned up shouting in Portuguese, obviously we did not understand. Once he establshed we had shut the gate carefully and his cows were safe, he pointed to the monument and waved us on our way.  So much easier than walking.
