Cranes & planes

So this is one of the two cranes at Belfast’s Harland & Wolff shipyard (H&W) from a side view. They get the nickname Samson & Goliath as they are giants and a big part of Belfast’s iconic skyline. These other cranes pictured beside it have been here for weeks I think they are linked to the oil rigs, many cranes and rigs come to Belfast’s shipyard for repair. Anyway I liked this shot because the sky was so blue and the cranes are so yellow and this plane had just taken off in the background at Belfast’s “George Best” City Airport. The cranes are pretty spectacular up close as cranes go!
