Well Trained Climbing Roses

Our walking group walked along the river trails once again. Today I was walking with my mom, holding onto the memory of her. It was her first missed birthday. She would have been 93 today.
Mom loved flowers, and although the roses were not anywhere near ready to flower, "we" walked through the Owen Rose Garden. This photo is of the climbing roses trained into heart shapes. I'm looking forward to seeing full blooming hearts this summer.
In the Rose Garden is a  Heritage Cherry Tree , over 150 years old.  It's so difficult to tell in a photograph, but the tree is over 49 feet tall and has a crown over 80 feet wide. See in my extra photos.
Also in the extras is a photo of snowdrops and hellebores from along the garden path.
