Prickly

I did deliberate about going out this afternoon for a blip - but after the drenching I got yesterday afternoon I decided against it.  
However, I have been out this morning - I meet up with a group to do our weekly shop and then we enjoy a good catch up - and today we went for a short stroll as the sun was shining - so most steps gained too! 
So I had to seek out something from the 'box' and this thistle is still there, still prickly but in its own way attractive to the camera!  
Housework done now too - I'm hosting the whist and scrabble night tonight.
