I can see you!

These are Japanese Naval binoculars, made in 1944, and presented to Sir Peter Scott in 1946 when Slimbridge was set up. They sit very happily on a purpose made stand in the Lime Kiln hide at Castle Espie. They're really good glasses!
We went to Castle Espie this afternoon, a light lunch in the Kingfisher cafe, and a walk in the nature reserve - and a chance to see more of the Lego figures, like Walter to water vole, Natalie the nene, and Sam the short-eared owl. We managed to see most of the figures, but missed the Kingfisher and the Andean flamingo, don't know where they were! The figures are there until the end of the month so perhaps we'll manage to find them :-)
