Lunch at the Dome.

Oot n aboot today in Edinburgh.

We’d lunch at the Dome in Edinburgh - thanks to friends for the gift voucher almost 12 month ago on my special birthday.

I’d a lovely birthday then and today was a nice event too. The food was lovely, the staff attentive and the Dome lived up to my expectations - a lovely building.

A bank building since 1844, (there was an older Physicians’ Hall building here from 1775), the building became a Royal Bank of Scotland establishment and then this iconic restaurant in the 1990s.

Afterwards we did a bit of sightseeing and walking - it was a bonny spring day.
