Rain..

Meet my friend down at Kings Cross, as l had got there a bit early l sat and watched all the visitors pour off the Eurostar from Paris and Brussels all chatty and happy and looking forward to a new day. Little did they know about the rain that was about to be unleashed upon them!
C and l decided not to stroll along to the British Library but instead went to an interesting gallery a quick scuttle away. The House of Illustration has five smallish rooms with 3 exhibitions on: Ludwig Bemelmans who wrote the Madeleine books, Corita Kent, a rather avant garde American nun who was interesting and eventually had to leave her order after many clashes with Arch bishop of Los Angeles over her style of art and interpretation of religious icons and a very powerful exhibition called "Journeys Drawn" detailing stories from the refugee crisis. Anyone in London should try to make time to visit.
After l got off the tube coming home the heavens opened and l got very wet and cold, l curled up, deep in the sofa with a book for the afternoon.
On another note Clive - l now have another umbrella
ADDITION oh no, l seem to have left it in the restaurant last night!
