My favourite place in the village

Another day of wind, sun, cloud and rain!  Did food shopping early morning, went for a walk late morning and home before the rain.  The lake was choppy from the wind, not used to seeing it like that!  So peaceful though, didn't see anyone else and spotted the nest of longtailed tits, they were going backwards and forwards building it.  Did take some photos but not very clear.  The extras are some more shots taken in a more sheltered part of the lake.
Took a friend to the doctors this afternoon and then had a cup of tea and chat.  Quick visit from my daughter, then some cooking, new recipe with almond pastry and apples, quite nice.  Friend for dinner this evening
