Dad's theatre memories

My father, an analyst programmer,  kept his diary on a database. I came across an entry for January 1972, "Oh Calcutta, London... Perhaps it was the Royalty Theatre" and decided to check.  A search confirmed that he was right.  In the same week he also saw The Mousetrap, Hair and his first opera Carmen. London theatre tickets must have been more affordable in 1972.
