Chamberlain Exit 263

Chamberlain 'Exit 263' (Hometown Caravan, 2002)

Earnest man rock is what Chamberlain deal in. Think Bruce Springsteen mixed with a stripped down The Rolling Stones, but not remotely as good. It sounds like the music soundtracking a bar scene in a US TV show about lawyers or doctors.

This record is so disappointing and middle of the road. It's hard to comprehend that it's more or less the same band who delivered the excellent 'Fate's got a Driver'.

It's so awful I've had to turn it off after one side.

This was bought entirely because there's a song on it called 'Hey, Louise'. Even that song is rubbish.

Peace
