No idai

A dogleg of a journey back to Maputo, originating first thing in the morning at the Lugenda River pictured, and ending at 11pm when I reached my apartment in the capital.

There are increasing warnings of tropical storm Idai gathering pace in the Mozambique Channel. I was nervous boarding the plane to travel the length of the country, as the coastal parts of Mozambique get battered heavily during the wet season. However all remained calm and I spat out a few useful bits of work while on board.
