Spilling Out

Back Blip from Akaroa

We had a light shower over night and it took a while before the grass to dry so I could mow it. It sure had grown since I last mowed it.

The day was a little cool with around 22c and great weather for gardening. This is milk weed plant that has lovely colourful flowers the Monarch Butteries didn't seem to like it, until now. All the plants have been eaten down to the stems. The Swan Plant which is also a milk weed plant had hardly any caterpillars on it. I managed to gather all the caterpillars that were left and put them onto there new home. After having hardly any caterpillars all season it was great to see so many this time.
