Another packed day of photo critiques, lectures, and then a four-hour jaunt to Albuquerque, wandering the streets.

We split up in little groups and mine had a lot of fun (if not photographic masterpieces): we encountered a stripper on a cigarette break (see extra) and a very talkative Vietnam vet who kept on saluting one of my teammates (who happens to be a colonel in the army); we invaded a traditional barber shop where two little kids were getting their first haircut; we ventured into pool houses and bars (all for the sake of photography, of course) and met various people high in character.  We giggled like school girls on the train back to our home base -- fatigue and tension from a packed week no doubt helping :)

Tomorrow is our last day: we critique today's pix then meet one-on-one with the instructor for personal feedback and looking ahead.  My husband flies in (traffic, weather, and Boeing groundings not withstanding) to help me celebrate my move into a new decade (egads!).  Lots to look forward to!
