A Fahrenheit Life

Sunset on Livingston

Busy day at work after being off yesterday but out tonight to meet FBBB for a burger and a beer before going to the Usher Hall to see the Gay Messiah, Rufus Wainwright. What a voice, what a showman. Loved every minute of it! He has the most fantastic voice and was joined onstage with fabulously talented singers and band members. Adam Cohen, Leonard's lad, was also performing and I really enjoyed his set as well - although, not as miserable and wrist-slittingly depressing as his Dad's customary renditions. The highlight of the show though surely had to be the Gay Messiah himself, adorned with angel wings and wearing a mini toga, dancing and singing (and mincing about?) in the stalls, encouraging all his disciples to follow him up on stage for the grand finale..
