Light and Life

This was really just a practice shot as the weather was against me today.

You can see a blue sky (and the sun was shining)  but every so often we had torrential rain.  But the real problem was the wind - and I was getting blown over as I tried to take this shot.

This golden statue replaced a former version at the top of the Co-Op building, a Glasgow landmark.   Because of its height It is actually best viewed as you drive past it on the M8 Motorway bridge..  However you can't stop there to get what would be the best photograph of it!

Fibre glass gilded in 23 carat gold leaf.
