The Way of Colour

Two Lifeboats

7.8C and bright with heavy squally showers, some of hail. Wind WNW/W to 36 mph with gusts to 61 mph. The wind had died down a bit yesterday evening but picked up again early this morning.

Fergus and I managed to avoid the showers this morning by waiting and watching one pass over.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a potter round the old quay, and went out along the shore side of the park. We walked as far as the cemetery then on seeing dark clouds coming over town we turned and came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (open). Some hail started before we got home but we were sheltered by the buildings by then.
