Wimbledon Park: Storm Surfing

Spot the black-headed gull in large.

Flying crow framed
Gull in gust

I went to Wimbledon Park briefly (before being blown away), and Storm Gareth's winds had whipped the lake up into white-capped waves. I photographed birds struggling with the swell, and various brave characters (inc. magpies, jackdaws, crows, gulls, and pigeons) surfing on the storming winds.
I picked this shot because it was most unlike my usual blips... This has been de-saturated, but several (inc. some on Flickr) were almost as monochrome without any tweaking.

Others here (or right from Moorhen vs. storm (1/3))
