A foot too short?

I, finally, found it.
Some time ago I gave poverty a blow and bought a new external HDD, my old one was terminally ill and not recognised by the computer.
The lads at d-Tech rendered the old stuff legible and transferred it to the new one. Some needs converted from Windows compatible files to MAC compatible, but the photos were OK.
The plan:-
Move it all to an on-board file - format the New Disk - then put it all back.
I couldn't help a bit of a nostalgic trawl through some of the photos and discovered exactly how old the greenhouse is; for a reason which will, eventually become apparent. It was, exactly the right width but, as you can see "A foot" too short.
