Big Sky (Day 1409)

I was woken, early, by a very heavy hail shower rattling on the windows. I waited under the duvet until it sounded as if the worst of the hail had passed, before heading out with the woofers. We were lucky and missed the rain and hail showers which seemed to pass around us.
Back at home, and as the weather closed in again, my beautiful wife and drank coffee and hoped for an end to the hail showers so we could get out on the horses. We ran out of time for hossing and had to make do with a run out to Stromness to check the horses and take the woofers along the shore. We timed it perfectly, the weather clearing as we arrived at the yard and brought the horses in. Walking back to the yard with the dogs later, the rain started just as we arrived. The only good thing about bad weather is that it gives some great skies.
Back home for lunch, before HV zoomed off to work and I made my way to Stromness to have a look at fault on a hot water cylinder.
