Wired

A day working from home as electricians sorted out some wiring in the house. Since moving back in a few circuits have been tripping with the new sensitive fuse box - or consumer unit as it is now apparently called. We’ve had to have extension cables around the place to function.

All sorted (after power and WiFi going off and on) although one circuit took a lot of time to sort. As the electrician’s phone shot (slightly blurry) shows, a fixing screw in an old socket had rubbed through the neutral wire casing which caused enough of a current disturbance to trigger the “unit”.

All functioning now and after tidying up can now open a shop for extension cables!
