Return

Departure from Seville. The flight is not until early afternoon so we have time for a leisurely breakfast with the final glass of Cava. I had been a bit cautious allowing for the time to get to the airport, the hotel likewise. Consequently we arrived a little too early and had to wait ten minutes or so for baggage drop to open. Then we had quite a while to wait in departures before boarding. Time to browse the souvenir shop, but without acquiring anything.

There were strong tailwinds all the way back, we arrived at Edinburgh about 30 minutes early. The stand was not ready for the plane. The aircraft parked some distance form the terminal, eventually after about half an hour we approached the terminal and were collected by bus from the plane. So we were on time, or even a little late by the time we finally got into the terminal.

We were collected from the airport will stay the night in Edinburgh before getting the bus to Aberdeen in the morning. A visit to a wine bar in the late afternoon left us aghast at the price of a glass of wine. It is surprising how quickly we had got used to Seville prices. Dinner at a Chinese restaurant was very pleasant. Raining and cold in Edinburgh. That is also a bit of a change after having got used to day time temperatures in the low to mid twenties.
