A Murmuration

Seeing hundreds — even thousands — of starlings flying together in a whirling ever-changing pattern is a phenomenon of nature that amazes and delights those lucky enough to witness it.
I witnessed it today, to my delight & surprise as I left my son & my grandchildren, I decided to wonder over to the Pier to take a few photo's of the waves & I saw a totally different wave, a wave of birds flying hither & thither all in tune with one another.
Awe inspiring!
