Cinderella

So here's beautiful Issy, one of my dear nieces on a trip with me to watch Cinderella at Nottingham's Theatre Royal. Here she is literally saying 'wow' as the lights dim.

Now at this point I should point out I would normally rather poke sharpened sticks in my eye than go to such an event, but being with Issy is always such fun & it was my treat so I swallowed my big 'just go with it' pills & sat ready for fun. And do you know what? It was hilarious. Yes, I had much fun. And ice cream. Honey & ginger since you ask.

A host of stars who I had no clue who they were, paraded before me and adults & children lapped it up. The Grumbleweeds (it turns out a comedy duo act) were highly amusing. 'Do you take medication?' 'Yes I do, Viagra,' 'Can you get it over the counter?' 'Yes, if I take 2........' Hilarious. I'm still laughing.

Sometimes laughter can be found in the strangest places. Issy & I had a blast. And Prince Charming found his Princess. As it should be.
