Old Village Shop for the Chop?

Our village shops are gradually being replaced with corporate brands, which means these beautiful shop fronts are being demolished. This is the demise of our local book shop, it lies empty now. It would be a shame to lose this Edwardian bent glass facade for a blander frontage to a blander establishment. Will post the replacement.
