Great Court

I’ve been teaching ancient Egypt this term and as a class in English we have worked on a unit of persuasive writing. The children have written great pieces about whether the Rosetta Stone ( housed in the British Museum) should be returned to Egypt. Through out the term I’ve realised I had never seen the Rosetta Stone although I’ve been to the BM a few times. First in the 70s when the Tutankhamen exhibition came to London! So for tomorrow we have the shot of Miss next to the Rosetta Stone, today you get the roof of the Great Court. London as lovely as ever.
