Tis a drippy day, I'm working on my taxes while listening to Irish Music. Later I'll be practicing my Irish Whistle (Low D). Wish I could convince my dogs to sing along. I tried to give this male Pileated Woodpecker a Green tint but it looked awful so...
I've only had the luck to visit Ireland once but I'm certain that I'll return. I'm  very proud of my Irish Roots on my mother's side. I looked up my name 'Maura' ..."Anglicized form of Maire. It has also been associated with Gaelic mor meaning 'great'. This was the name of an obscure 5th century Irish or Scottish martyr." Ok then! Happy St.Patricks Day to All  ;)
