A lovely gift.

Thank you to our two sons and partner for a lovely afternoon tea; they kindly gave us this as a 30th wedding anniversary gift last year.

Crossbasket Castle hotel is a sensitively restored 17th century fine dining venue near Glasgow; we’d to book some time ago, it’s very popular. It’s also in a bonny setting, we’d a short walk by the river afterwards.

It was nice to drive back in daylight, sunset is now 18.22hrs.
