The Great Barn

A dry sunny day with just the odd shower.   Much warmer.
This is the 400 year old Grade 1 listed barn at East Riddlesden Hall.   The oak beams are magnificent and you can see the stalls where some 42 animals would have been kept.   The floor is very uneven and rough and was used for threshing when the harvest was brought in during the autumn months.
