Laughing Buddha

I have never liked this statue. So it really was a challenge to photograph it and post it. 
I asked my nephew, when he went to Japan years ago, to please bring me a statue of Buddha. This is the one he brought. I had imagined a serene beautiful Buddha head! I guess it is important to also photograph things and objects you dislike.
