Ironwork

This little quilt top has been made of random-ish scraps during our long career journeys. It's taken ages (far too long, tbh) and it's time it got finished. So, out with the iron for tedious but v important final gentle press and hopefully it'll be done and dusted v soon.

Otherwise today was more ironing, meeting friends for lunch, soothing LH (hmmm not sure it was that effective) whilst the boiler was fixed (again) and final peeping for sewing tomorrow evening.

Mum's birthday today - she would've been 87. Had a long chat with Dad but he was largely focused on the imminent removal of 7 teeth, poor chap.
