No wonder the lights failed .....

..... Thursday evening the lights tripped and we have been reduced to plugging in table lamps to see in the evenings.

Hooray for the electrician who came along this morning and found the offending earth which had 'shorted' the circuit. New cable fitted and now we have lights again - yippee! I do like candlelight, but not all the time.
