Another One About to Bite the Dust.

Came across a host of yellow jackets, this morning. They were huddled in a pow-wow, no doubt discussing the lay of the land around them. Around them is one of the old factory sites of a very famous glass manufacturer (the clue is on the side of the building,  about thirty feet tall in real life).

Haven't a clue what they're going to build there but whatever it will be, they'll have to rip up the site's very own railway lines and do some major decontamination of the ground as making glass can be a very "dirty" business besides a very hot one.

There are some beautiful brick buildings scattered around the site, many are unique, too, in design and function, as glass making is a very niche process.

Sadly, The National Trust won't buy/rescue "real" buildings that actually created the wealth that built this nation; nope, The National Trust's remit is that of a housing association for distressed aristocracy, who couldn't pay their taxes.

Cynical, me? Shirley shome mishtake. ;)
