Evening Walk

We concluded mid afternoon on our survey site today. Relatively local I had time for an evening stretch to Achaderry before dark.
I have three flash guns. One bought in the last three years which panders to the modern demands of flash photography, TTL, HSS, and in conjunction with a Nikon built in flash as control, can be triggered and adjusted remotely as long as the flash sensor can see the camera flash.
My older flashes date from about 1986, are fully manual or have crude thyristor control. However, combined with a couple of cheap triggers have almost as much flexibility as the new unit. The flash GNs are very misleading as the old Sunpaks have easily four times as much power -2 stops- if needed and I'd swear have a better quality to their illumination.
