Centre Ceramique

It was after already four o'clock when we went to the library in Maastricht. I wanted to borrow a book which was not available in the local library. I expected us to be back at seven, because I knew where to find the booklet on the forth floor.
All went well. We cycled via a scenic route to town and indeed arrived after one hour. Finding the book, however, wasn't that easy. Either it was misplaced or somebody else had borrowed it in the meantime.
We went to the information desk, but there was no one present. We went down and asked the lady at the desk on the ground floor. She  she referred us upstairs again after had made an internal call. We went up and down again, because even the librarian couldn't find the book. Then the lady downstairs got an idea. We were able to borrow a copy from the depot, but then we had to go upstairs again to make a request.

It didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped. We left the library with the book and indeed it is not much larger than an envelope. That it could not be found is therefore perhaps no wonder.
We were home at seven.
