Fun Day

An old acquaintance from NY is in town and she introduced us to two new-in-town-transplants. They just moved from NY to Seattle and the husband will be a chef at a well-known restaurant here. We went out to eat at Walrus and Carpenter and hit it off really well right from the beginning. We invited them back to our place for pizza and a late-night viewing of Shoot 'Em Up. It was great fun. (and no, I didn't eat the tartar, just photographed it because it was so pretty!)
