Tidal Thames

A job today in Erith...once an incredibly important port where the kings fleet sailed to war with France and where Alexander Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe set foot on british soil again after his island castaway rescue. Today it’s a strangely peaceful place in the midst of post industrial decay and logistics warehouses. There is now a Morrison’s supermarket where Selkirk set foot on the shore.
