I am at the Crichton Church tonight, where Youngest Son is playing trumpet for the service of Nine Lessons and Carols with a Regional Youth Choir and brass band. Probably my favourite event of the Christmas season. The Crichton Church is a popular venue for weddings and it looks as though there has been one here this weekend.

And Eldest Son is home, too!
