New growth from old

A mild but grey day. Got to know our surroundings today. Walked the promenade at Grange-over-Sands. Not much sand: mainly estuarial mud. But some lovely floral planting and this ancient rosemary bush still producing new growth out the of the serpentine like roots.

Toured around a bit and visited Cartmel - the home of sticky toffee pudding. So had to try some. It was good!
