Out of Season

The strawberry is not quite ripe, but I picked it as soon as I saw it to prevent the blackbirds taking that too. They haven’t left me much fruit this season.

I listened on the radio to the memorial service for the people who died last Friday at the Christchurch mosques. It was a very moving experience. So sad, but at the same time uplifting, with the themes of peace, love, unity and hope.
