Great white pelican

This appropriately flew in to Pelican Point at Langstrand, where we were staying, a few miles south of Swakopmund. The climate on the Namibian coast is totally different from inland - cool, damp, often foggy mornings, and only rising to about 20 decgrees C, but if you go a few miles inland it's up to about 36 in the afternoon.
