At International Women’s Night....

Tonight I attended a special gathering of hundreds of women of all ethnicities and ages at the Marlborough Convention Centre. It was to celebrate International Women and was organized by our Migrants’ Centre. It was busy, noisy and happy and lifted our spirits after the dark days that followed the attacks on Moslem Mosques in Christchurch. Here a large Tongan group perform traditional dance and music. A lovely evening.
