Bell Rock Lighthouse; from idea to now

Have started re-editing my Keynote Presentation for my talk to the Scottish Arts Club.

Today’s photo is a collage of the original Robert Stevenson drawings assembled to show a complete section view under construction and merged with my photograph of the Lighthouse as it is now.

The Bell Rock Lighthouse was the first Lighthouse in the world to be built on a rock which was completely covered by the sea every high tide. Work began in 1807 on a building site approximately 13 miles from the shore.

This collage illustrates men working under the high tide sea level.
