Redesmouth Bridge ...

... adjacent to the dismantled railway bridge that used to carry the Border Counties line across the river Rede and north to Bellingham.  This is about one third mile north of Reedsmouth Junction where the Wansbeck Railway connected with the Border Counties line.  Reedsmouth is the spelling designated by the BCR/NBR in 1864 and they steadfastly refused to correct it.
