New seats - “Scotch: the Golden Dram” screening.

It was great to go to the refurbished Playhouse at the Macrobert Arts Centre, University of Stirling. The new seats were a great improvement in the small venue. It was looking fresh and tidy. We went to see Andrew Peat’s documentary “Scotch: the Golden Dram,” filmed entirely on location in Scotland. It’s the story of the people and processes that make Scotch Whisky. As well being a lovely biographical piece of some of the biggest names in whisky, the film explores the art and science, and drive for perfection, during whisky manufacture. It also reveals how experts view the product and its characteristics.
