Magnolia Blossoms

On our walk this morning I spotted this Magnolia Tree with these wonderfully pink blossoms. My husband pointed out that the tree was only blooming on its southern exposure. Interesting!
I imagine that as the day length increases and the weather warms a bit more the rest of the tree will catch up and bloom.
The extra shot is in the rose garden that has the trained heart shaped plants ( blipped on March 9) with the azalea bushes in bloom. No blooming roses yet.
