Put it to the people..

down at the march yesterday. I had offered to give out leaflets, 500 of them so was pleased when the last one was passed over. I took this photo at the start of the march, a tremendous feeling of power as l realised that there would be going on for nearly one million people behind that starting line. The march started at Hyde Park round about and trailed all the way back along both sides of Park Lane, it then went down to Parliament Square where speeches were made. A good march, well attended and behaved, lets see what the Sunday papers say.
In the process of giving out the leaflets l spoke to lots of different people from all walks of life, many who had come from great distances to be there, Brits living in France and Germany, people from Cornwall, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and people from the outer Islands of Scotland - over 11 hours on coaches - such strength of feeling. Later on, in a moment of sheer madness, l had people back for dinner, l am pooped.
