Trip into town to check out the handbag shop still run by a 92 year old who fought at Monte Cassino together with the legendary bear Wojtek. He told us how he was forced to leave Poland as a young kid and how he ended up in Scotland. It was quite an experience. We did also buy a handbag.

We decided to go for a walk to Colinton, along the canal to the aqueduct and then along the Water of Leith. Since the kids were busy otherwise,we went for a nice drink.
