OLIVE

My lovely, warm, caring neighbour for all of the 29 years we have lived in Yorkshire. We have just returned from the Memorial Ceremony held for her in the village hall, the hall packed with her extensive family of four generations, friends and neighbours. There was no funeral as Olive, in her ever caring way, left her body to medical science. Her children and grandchildren spoke words which brought both laughter and tears, it was a most loving and moving celebration of her life.

Olive, you will be sorely missed. And I wish I’d taken more tissues.
